Too many houses, too many offers, and too many tears
Our home buying experience has been nothing like what you see on HGTV or TLC. This has been heartbreak after heartbreak and let down after let down. Ten plus offers later and twenty homes later we just might almost have our first home. "Almost?" you say.... Yes almost, I am not getting excited, I am not planning where I want to put things, and I am most certainly not planning what great changes we could do to it to make it ours. It seems that doing those things has jinxed us with all of our previous offers. I am so ready We are so ready to be able to call a house our home. So please cross your fingers for us, we really don't want to go into another dilapidated, bates hotel looking, distressed house.

So this means you had mixed emotions then… Hm, that would be normal for anyone trying to buy their first home. My brother and her wife felt the same way while they were looking for a new home after they got married. They’re completely happy now. What happened, btw? I browsed your blog and only found a partial update. I hope you found your dream house.
